Job Summary

The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for coordinating the delivery of rehabilitation therapy programs to patients in our facilities. This includes overseeing the performance of the rehabilitation therapy staff, business planning, and budget development of the rehab department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the delivery of rehabilitation therapy programs to patients
  • Oversee the performance of the rehabilitation therapy staff
  • Develop business plans and budgets for the rehab department
  • Ensure services are provided in compliance with professional and clinical competency standards, state and federal regulatory requirements
  • Lead and direct the work of others, and treat patients as necessary
  • Make independent decisions and think creatively to solve issues within the rehab department
Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rehabilitation therapy and experience in a leadership role. A license as a Physical Therapist, Speech-Language Pathologist, or Occupational Therapist is required, or a Physical Therapy Assistant or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with at least 3 years of experience and past supervisory experience.
