Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Analyst/Sr. Infrastructure Analyst to join our global IT team. This position will be based at our offices in Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL (Near O'Hare).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and analyze current infrastructure needs and develop comprehensive plans for improvements and upgrades.
  2. Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for the adoption of new infrastructure components that align with business goals.
  3. Provide technical support to business stakeholders and other IT teams, resolving infrastructure/Exchange-related issues promptly.
  4. Document troubleshooting procedures and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.
  5. Administer and maintain Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange Server environments.
  6. Configure and monitor SMTP email systems to ensure reliable email delivery.
  7. Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure the stability and security of email services.
  8. Implement security best practices and policies to protect the organization's infrastructure and data.
  9. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and patch management.
  10. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations relevant to IT infrastructure.
  11. Collaborate with multiple, cross-functional global teams to complete multiple high-profile IT projects.
  12. Act as a technical participant for multiple simultaneous projects and day-to-day operations.
  13. Collaborate with various members of the IT team on infrastructure, network, backup, and systems design.
  14. Deploy new strategies and manage day-to-day operations as part of the Office 365 and Azure AD environment supporting over 60,000 users globally.
  15. Assist in implementing policy, security best practices, and standards across the global organization.
  16. Perform optimization efforts and implement automation and scripting to improve efficiencies.
  17. Recommend and implement performance improvements and cost-control strategies. Monitor the performance and usage of cloud services.
  18. Develops and improves ICT departmental processes for continuous work environment improvement.
  19. Creates and improves documentation to support and improve problem resolution time and analysis.
  20. Participate in Incident Response teams to address production or security-related issues.
  21. Participate in an on-call occasionally during projects and as an escalation point.
  22. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies through continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, or Engineering, or comparable technical field experience.

Ability to demonstrate strong logical problem-solving and ability to independently execute on technical tasks.

3+ years of proven experience as an Exchange Online Admin or in a similar role.

Proven proficiency in scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell).

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate) are a plus.

Experience with Office 365 administration.

Strong troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills.

Ability to react quickly and communicate efficiently in a crisis situation.

Ability to work a flexible schedule (on-call, emergency support, after hours maintenance, etc.).
