We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Use the nursing process to provide safe, quality patient care and document accordingly.
- Work to ensure compliance with all NMHS policies and requirements as directed by the Nurse Manager and Educator.
- Provide patient/family education and act as a resource for existing staff and new employees.
- Maintain communication with multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic care to the patient.
- Attend daily huddles on each unit to ensure proper assignments and identify team members for the shift.
- Licensed by the board of Nursing for the state.
- Must be licensed to practice as a RN in the state of MS.
- Current AHA CPR Certification.
- ACLS certification (dependent on hiring department).
- TB Certified (dependent on hiring department).
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (dependent on hiring department).
- ASLS Certified for Emergency Room.
- NIH - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification (dependent on hiring department).
