Job Title: Host/Hostess

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Host/Hostess to join our team at One&Only Moonlight Basin. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Your warm smile, impeccable service, and attention to detail will make our guests feel welcome and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests as they enter and ensure a seamless check-in process
  • Provide menus and answer initial questions, ensuring guests feel informed and comfortable
  • Seat guests at tables or in waiting areas, taking into account table rotation and server assignments
  • Engage with guests to ensure they're happy with their food and service, responding promptly to any concerns
  • Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to customer inquiries with a smile
  • Assist with other positions in the restaurant as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
  • Provide exceptional customer service, exceeding guest expectations at every turn

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and welcoming demeanor
  • Knowledge of catering operations and beverage practices within the catering industry
  • Experience in a 5-star luxury resort is preferred, but not required
