Job Title: Executive Director

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong leader to oversee the operation of the Woodford County Food Pantry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the pantry, including food distribution, volunteer management, and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage food distributions and ensure that clients receive the necessary assistance.
  • Supervise volunteers and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase community engagement and outreach.
  • Collaborate with local organizations and agencies to secure funding and resources.
  • Prepare and submit reports to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years of experience in non-profit leadership or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

The Woodford County Food Pantry is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires a strong leader to manage the day-to-day activities. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to achieve the goals of the pantry.

This is a contract position with a salary of $75,000.00 per year. The work location is in person at the Woodford County Fiscal Court.
