About the Job
First Student is seeking a Transportation Professional to join our team as a Part-Time School Bus Driver. As a Transportation Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a school bus in a safe and responsible manner
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students while on board
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the bus
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug testing
- Availability to work a split shift, including early morning and afternoon hours
