Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento. As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Respiratory Therapy department.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with a strong background in newborn intubation and a valid California Respiratory License. You will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in the NICU and other age populations, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the NICU and other age populations
  • Conduct newborn intubations and other respiratory procedures
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and maintain patient records and reports
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Valid California Respiratory License
  • Active BLS certification
  • Experience with newborn intubation within the last 90 days
  • Basic Respiratory Assessment & treatment skills necessary
