This role is essential for overseeing staffing and scheduling within the home care services sector. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for aligning caregivers with senior clients, ensuring optimal matches based on various factors. This position requires significant communication via phone and involves collaboration with caregivers, clients, and healthcare professionals.
Educational Requirements:
A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in home care staffing or customer service within a home care environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, work independently, and exhibit excellent telephone and interpersonal skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial, along with the ability to perform well under pressure.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports to the Director of Client Services and/or the Owner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess experience in home care scheduling.
- Effectively match caregivers to clients based on personality, availability, and skill set.
- Ensure all cases are adequately covered and arranged as necessary.
- Address and resolve caregiver issues, problems, and scheduling adjustments.
- Provide prospective clients with information regarding services offered.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, caregivers, and case managers.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Client Services and/or Owner to verify hours and pay rates for payroll, ensuring billing rates are accurate for invoicing.
- Participate in a regular on-call rotation.
- Experience with WellSky Personal Care (formerly ClearCare) is preferred.
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask and thrive in high-stress environments.
Work Schedule:
Standard hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates are offered.
