Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Rowlett, TX

Shift: Full-Time, 10-Hour Days (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Shifts Per Week: 4

Scheduled Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Hourly Rate: $33 - $48 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in Rowlett, TX. This position involves assisting physicians with various cardiovascular procedures, including catheterizations, pacemaker implantations, and diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians in performing arteriograms, catheterizations, pacemaker implantations, and other cardiovascular procedures.
  • Follow national and state radiation protection regulations for patients and staff.
  • Perform pre and post-procedure care and monitoring.
  • Monitor patient ECG, pressures, and temperature during electrophysiology lab procedures.
  • Assist with RF/Cryo ablation systems, 3D mapping, and procedural documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields and manage supplies for lab procedures.
  • Collect data for registry and quality reporting.
  • Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance.
  • Assist in training new staff and participating in quality control initiatives.
  • Transport patients to and from the procedural area.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in a related field or equivalent military training and experience or 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience.
  • Must meet on-call response requirements per facility policy.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and invasive cardiac techniques.
