We are looking for an individual who is passionate about food preparation and has a strong work ethic. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of delicious dishes in our kitchen. This includes setting up workstations and ingredients, following recipes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to recipes
  • Label and stock ingredients on shelves for easy access
  • Measure and prepare ingredients for cooking
  • Prepare simple dishes such as salads and entrees
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Prep Cook
  • Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
  • Manual dexterity to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
  • A team player with good communication skills
  • Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
  • Very good physical condition and endurance
