Under the direct guidance of the perioperative nursing team, the individual in this role will be responsible for executing various perioperative support tasks. This includes the responsibilities of an Operating Room Assistant, Surgical Support Technician, and Senior Surgical Support Technician, adapting to the dynamic needs of the operating room environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform essential perioperative support functions as directed.
- Ensure access to medication storage areas is maintained in accordance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with nursing staff to enhance operational efficiency in the OR.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is mandatory.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting is essential.
- Current CPR Certification is required.
