Job Overview:
We are currently in search of skilled individuals to fill the role of Assembly Production Operator. As part of Pacer Staffing, you will engage with some of the most innovative companies while playing a crucial role in fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee testing processes on various machinery.
- Document data from testing in standardized formats and relay results to product and engineering teams.
- Examine test data to detect any defects, malfunctions, or performance issues.
- Collaborate with technical teams to propose solutions for testing challenges or equipment failures.
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate testing equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to testing protocols.
- Develop new testing procedures in partnership with the engineering team.
- Ensure compliance of testing procedures with safety regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent educational background.
- 0-2 years of experience in the field or a related area.
- Familiarity with industry-specific tests and testing instruments (e.g., calipers, drop mics, bore gauges, inside/outside micrometers).
- Experience with torque wrench operation and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Ability to work under direct supervision and achieve objectives with limited experience and judgment.
- Creativity and flexibility required for problem-solving.
- Capability to lift weights exceeding 30 lbs. and manage physical risks associated with testing.
