Compensation

Hourly Rate: $18.00

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee food preparation while ensuring adherence to quality, presentation, and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor that all portion sizes, recipes, and quality benchmarks are consistently met by kitchen staff.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning properly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
  • Supervise the proper handling, rotation, labeling, and storage of food items.
  • Execute opening, closing, and side work tasks as directed.
  • Train new and existing staff under management guidance.
  • Address disciplinary issues and uphold performance standards among team members.
  • Guarantee the quality and timely delivery of food and beverage orders.
  • Complete and submit all necessary paperwork at the end of each shift.
  • Ensure all workstations and storage areas are clean, safe, and adequately stocked.
  • Adhere to inventory and labor control protocols; conduct inventory counts as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's Degree in Food & Beverage or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a back-of-house restaurant or food service role in a high-volume setting is required.
  • One year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or service environment is preferred.
  • Exceptional guest service skills and the ability to adhere to service standards.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required food safety certifications.
  • Familiarity with the operations of a high-volume dining establishment.
  • Basic math skills for accurate inventory management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain on feet for the duration of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to navigate between tables and around corners.
  • Ability to lift and carry large food trays weighing up to 50 lbs.

Work Schedule

Shifts may include days, evenings, holidays, weekdays, and weekends.
