The Floor Maintenance Specialist role is essential for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of both carpeted and hard surface flooring. This position also involves managing pallets on the floor while operating a forklift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and clean various types of flooring, including tasks such as stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing, and spot cleaning.
- Adhere to safety protocols in all work environments.
- Assist the Building/Account Lead with special projects, which may include setups, breakdowns, and move in/move out activities.
- Exhibit flexibility and a willingness to complete all assigned tasks.
- Perform floor cleaning duties through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, following proper procedures for chemical cleaners and equipment to prevent damage.
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors as needed.
- Clean and vacuum carpeted areas, applying spot cleaning treatments when necessary.
- Operate vehicles, if required, to travel to cleaning sites, including vans and industrial trucks.
- Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications:
6 months of relevant experience and familiarity with floor scrubbers.
