The VPK program at Learning Care Group is designed to provide a strong foundation for school success. As a VPK Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, assessing, and instructing 4-year-old children, meeting the needs of each child and adhering to program requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
  • Classroom Management: Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.
  • Family Engagement: Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and support the center's success.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor fellow teachers and provide guidance on lesson planning and classroom management.

We are seeking a passionate and dependable individual with a CDA, Associates degree or higher in education, or a Florida Child Care Professional Certificate. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans, as well as the ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
