Retail Donation Attendant PT

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Donation Attendant to join our team at Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay. As a member of our store team, you will play a vital role in leading an exceptional customer experience, promoting sales, and receiving donations in an expedient and courteous manner.
Responsibilities include accepting all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service, ensuring accurate labeling of Gaylords, and offering receipts to each donor. You will also be responsible for writing up sales tickets and sold signs for furniture and other large items, as well as assisting customers with loading and unloading merchandise.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, ability to pass a forklift certification class, and speak and read English proficiently. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Physical requirements include the ability to constantly lift/carry/push/pull at minimum 20 lbs, frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs, and regularly stand, walk, sit, handle items, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend.
This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $16.50, flexible scheduling, accrued paid sick and vacation time, and access to mental health resources. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we welcome applicants with arrest and conviction records.
