Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the care provided by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Technicians, including training and orienting new staff and students, and assuming supervisory duties as needed
- Evaluate patient needs, implement appropriate physical therapy interventions, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to uphold standards of practice and teamwork
- Monitor and assess treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary and communicating with physicians regarding patient progress
- Conduct thorough assessments and re-assessments of patients, ensuring accurate quality improvement scoring
- Identify and address patient pain to enhance their functional capabilities and participation in rehabilitation
- Develop and revise individualized care plans for physical therapy
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of employmentPreferred experience in inpatient rehabilitation settingsCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Salary range: $45 - $54 per hour. Compensation may vary based on specific circumstances.
