Welding Technician

We are seeking an experienced Welder with expertise in MIG, Flux Core, and TIG welding to join our team at Aerotek. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to read blueprints and pass non-destructive testing of pressure-retaining welds on both pipes and vessels.

• Perform MIG, Flux Core, and TIG welding with precision and accuracy
• Read and interpret blueprints for welding projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Pass non-destructive testing of pressure-retaining welds on pipes and vessels, maintaining the highest level of quality control
• Determine weld size, location, and process from drawings/sketches, utilizing expertise in welding procedures
• Inspect own work to ensure compliance with drawings and weld procedures, making necessary repairs and updates
• Assist with incoming parts inspection and final product inspection, completing appropriate documentation and reports
• Operate fork trucks, jib cranes, and overhead cranes, ensuring safe and efficient material handling
• Complete daily weld log documentation, maintaining accurate records and reports
• Comply with company policies and procedures, adhering to industry standards and regulations
• Handle and move materials as needed, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
• Assist in other areas of the plant as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
