About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of patient needs and care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with a current RN license in the state of Texas.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
