Job Description:

Voca is seeking a skilled and experienced Catheterization Laboratory Specialist to join our team as a traveling professional. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiography, angioplasty, and stenting
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including catheters, guidewires, and imaging systems
  • Ensure a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
