Compensation: $44,000 - $51,000 annually, commensurate with education, certifications, and experience.

- Design and implement recreation therapy programs tailored to meet the therapeutic needs of patients across various dimensions: social, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
- Maintain a focus on safety during all activities.
- Conduct a diverse range of recreation therapy activities, including sports, nature exploration, therapeutic exercises, and social engagement.
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of recreation therapy needs, ensuring integration into the treatment team and accurate documentation in patient records.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy, with a valid State of Utah license and/or National certification (e.g., TRS, CTRS).
- Understanding of medical and psychological terminology, human behavior, and psychological principles.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including travel and overnight events.
- Valid and clear Utah driver’s license.
- Minimum age of 21 years, with the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Preferred certifications include Wilderness First Responder (or equivalent Advanced First Aid), CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Lifeguard certification, and knowledge of rappelling, climbing, ropes courses, and belay systems.
