MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society, is presenting an exceptional opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible pediatrician to become part of a thriving practice at a newly established, state-of-the-art medical facility.
- Providing coverage for the newborn nursery with approximately 1,400 deliveries annually.
- Managing an 8-bed pediatric unit and offering consultations in the emergency department.
- Involvement in the education of medical students and family medicine residents.
- No attendance required for deliveries or NICU coverage.
- Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with a week-on/week-off rotation.
- Support from pediatric-trained specialists including speech, occupational, and physical therapists, as well as lactation consultants.
- Access to in-house neonatology consultations and other pediatric subspecialties available for consults at a nearby tertiary center.
- Opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions.
Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in pediatrics.
- Preferred experience in the field.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation and benefits mentioned are for illustrative purposes only and will be discussed during the interview process.
Our healthcare professionals enjoy a competitive compensation package, with various locations offering sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance.
Compensation Range: $180,000 to $215,000 based on experience, with bonus potential. *Part-time salary will be pro-rated from full-time.
