About this Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Associate Personal Banker to join our National Branch Network team. As a key member of our Consumer, Small & Business Banking division, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive outreach and propose suitable products, services, and digital solutions to help customers achieve their financial goals
  • Assist customers with basic requests related to account openings, service requests, and credit applications
  • Work closely with managers to receive direction and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures
  • Develop a deep understanding of bank products and services to effectively connect with customers' needs
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build trust
  • Offer tailored solutions for bank products and services to meet customers' financial needs
  • Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as necessary
  • This role requires SAFE registration and compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations
Requirements
  • 6+ months of customer-facing experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Strong customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options
  • Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate
  • Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs
  • Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members
