Job Overview

Your Independence Inc. is a leading provider of direct care services to individuals with developmental disabilities. We are seeking an experienced Residential House Manager to join our team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while developing your leadership skills.

We offer a competitive salary of $17.50 per hour and a flexible schedule that includes 10, 12, and 8 hour shifts, as well as day, night, and on-call shifts.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in residential management, including working with individuals with developmental disabilities. They will also possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, including personal care, meal preparation, feeding, cleaning, errands, and daily living activities
  • Supervise staff and ensure that client needs are met
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Assist with scheduling, grocery shopping, and supply procurement
  • Deal with staffing issues, client care, and compliance

Requirements:

  • 21 years or older
  • Valid Driver License
  • Own Reliable Vehicle
  • Flexible Schedule
  • CPR and First Aid Certified
  • Med Delegated
  • Previous House Manager experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the healthcare field
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
