ESL Instructor

Join our team of dedicated educators at Berryville Public School District as an Intermediate ESL Teacher. As a key member of our instructional staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate ESL teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing effective instructional strategies, diagnosing and evaluating student abilities, and creating a supportive learning environment.

1. Instructional Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
2. Student Assessment: Diagnose and evaluate student abilities and progress in a timely and consistent manner.
3. Classroom Environment: Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and promotes student engagement.
4. Progress Monitoring: Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
5. Communication: Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.

1. Qualifications: Must have current certification in ESL.
2. Reports to: Principal and/or other Supervisor.
3. Terms of Employment: 190 day contract.
