Job Summary

The Army National Guard is seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team as MLRS Repairers. As a key member of our artillery systems team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex surface-to-surface launchers, ensuring they are battle-ready for our troops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on MLRS systems, including the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System and self-propelled launcher-loader.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic assemblies to isolate malfunctions.
  • Test and adjust firing, guidance, and launch systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Replace or repair faulty electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical assemblies.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of schematics, drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to operate, test, and maintain complex weapons systems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Training and Development

As an MLRS Repairer, you will undergo 10 weeks of Basic Training, followed by 19 weeks of classroom instruction and hands-on training in repairing and replacing equipment parts.
