Job Title: HSES Lead

At Syngenta Crop Protection, we are seeking a highly skilled HSES Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor plant procedures and processes to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to site employees on HSES topics.
  • Complete environmental reporting to meet external and internal requirements.
  • Review incident reports and identify trends to stakeholders.
  • Write, review, and revise Plant Safety and Environmental Procedures.
  • Coordinate and lead Incident Analysis Teams for significant plant incidents and near misses.
  • Coordinate the Water treatment certification/recertification training for certified waste-water technicians with the NDEQ.
  • Serve as a resource to site Safety Teams, resident contractors, and plant functional areas.
  • Lead Process Risk Assessments (PRAs) at site.
  • Lead audits on Process Safety Management (PSM) like processes (MOCs, SOPs, & Training).
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a 4-year degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a relevant science field.
  • Experience working in an Industrial, Chemical, Agri-Chemical, and/or Manufacturing plant environment.
  • Knowledge of Safety, Health, Environmental, and Loss Prevention programs.
