Role Summary:

The Financial Aid Administrator plays a crucial role in the precise allocation of various financial aid programs, including federal, state, and institutional resources.

Essential Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree is required.

2. A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is necessary.

Desirable Qualifications:

1. A Master's degree is preferred.

2. Familiarity with EdConnect and EdExpress is advantageous.

Work Schedule: Full-Time / 40 hours per week / Monday to Friday / 8am to 4:30pm (occasional evening events) / Hybrid model (one day remote per week during classes; two days remote during breaks).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide guidance and support to students regarding the financial aid process and their awards.

2. Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure prompt, efficient, and effective service to students while adhering to federal and state regulations and accreditation standards.

3. Oversee the coordination of Pell and Direct Student Loan processing among the US Department of Education, students, and the institution.

4. Manage federal campus-based student aid programs.

5. Coordinate the annual submission of the FISAP, Nursing Student Loan Annual Operating Report, and other required state/federal documentation.

6. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations and requirements.

7. Supervise audits, compliance assessments, and account reconciliations.

8. Collaborate closely with the Bursar to ensure accurate financial aid disbursement and student billing.

9. Advise students on Satisfactory Academic Progress criteria.

10. Assess and review special circumstances and professional judgment cases.

11. Execute Return of Title IV calculations.

12. Oversee the federal and college work-study program coordination.

13. Create and update financial aid publications.

14. Work in partnership with other departments to design, develop, and implement enrollment and retention initiatives.

15. Provide counsel on course enrollment changes as they relate to financial aid and student accounts.
