BSW Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled BSW Clinician to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing trauma-informed care to children and adolescents in crisis.

• Provide crisis intervention services to children and adolescents, including telephone consultations, screenings, and triage.
• Conduct assessments, documentation, and follow-up to determine the needs and desires of individuals and families.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including collaborative safety planning, psychoeducation, and recommendations.
• Coordinate services for assigned families, collaborating with current behavioral health providers, natural supports, and other systems involved.
• Maintain currency in required trainings and familiarity with research and literature in areas of expertise.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or professional school.
• Appropriate social work (LSW) licensure required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member to ensure consistent quality of services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain productive relationships.

This role requires occasional exposure to blood and/or bodily fluids, communicable diseases and/or pathogens, loud noises, and physical holds/manual restraints. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
