Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students to determine eligibility for special education services.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide direct counseling services to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for improving student outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and make recommendations for services and interventions.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist.
