About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Aequor Technologies. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients overcome speech and communication challenges. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to support each student's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate patients and their family members about speech disorders, including their causes and treatment options.
• Maintain detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards.
• Report patient progress and current status to appropriate parties, including family members, teachers, or medical professionals, as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings for students, contributing expertise to support each student's unique needs.
• Consult with teachers, parents, or medical providers to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for patients.
• Provide rehabilitative assistance to help patients achieve their speech and communication goals, tailoring interventions to individual needs.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments.
• Excellent coaching, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Attentive and caring, with the ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Speech Pathologist.
• CCC-SLP Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology).
• Active [STATE] Speech Language Pathologist License in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist or in a similar role.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
