Staff Today Inc is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing mental health services to patients in a correctional facility.
Responsibilities:- Conduct initial mental health evaluations, including assessments of criminal, psychological, and substance abuse case history.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect the standard of practice.
- Provide clinical, face-to-face interviews with patients, including crisis intervention and group psychotherapy.
- Collaborate with treatment team members and CDCR institutional healthcare personnel to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Document all care provided to patients, including face-to-face contacts and Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IOTT) meetings.
- Monitor patient progress using Subjective Assessment Plan Evaluation (SOAPE) FORMATTED PROGRESS NOTES.
- Minimum 1-year previous working experience within the last 36 months as a Psychologist.
- Proficient in the English language and able to communicate effectively.
- Ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association).
- Required licenses, permits, and/or certifications in the state of CA.
