Responsibilities:
• Lead and train employees to ensure successful accomplishment of production objectives
• Coordinate production activities with other departments to ensure timely and cost-effective production goals
• Monitor shift performance and make recommendations for improvement to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Analyze production data to identify areas for optimization and implement changes as necessary
• Communicate with employees, including leads and engineers, to ensure smooth operation of production lines
• Work collaboratively with other team members to implement process improvements and increase productivity
• Develop and maintain effective communication channels with employees, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of production activities
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and best practices
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or related field
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving process improvements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines, while maintaining high level of productivity and quality
• Strong knowledge of lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies preferred
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company, with opportunities for professional development and advancement
Compensation:
$25-$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.
