Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse for the role of RN Case Manager specializing in Acute Care Case Management.
Key Responsibilities:
This travel nursing position involves working in inpatient adult units, including:
- Medical/Telemetry
- Orthopedic/Spine
- General Surgery
Our goal is to assign the RN Care Manager to a unit where they possess expertise, ensuring consistency and the development of strong relationships with the care team.
Work Schedule:
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours
Additional Information:
- Floating between units: Yes
- On-call requirement: No
- Weekend shifts: Occasional
- Block schedules: Not required
- Patient ratios: 1:17
Special Requirements:
The RN Care Manager will assist with durable medical equipment, home health, and various post-acute placements, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, adult foster homes, and assisted living arrangements. Collaboration with community partners is essential for arranging care plans and securing insurance authorizations. While utilization review knowledge is beneficial, it is not a primary function of this role.
