About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Liquor Associate to join our team at Binny's Beverage Depot. As a Liquor Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, developing sales, and maintaining a thorough knowledge of our liquor products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing sales and providing assistance to customers.
• Continuously develop knowledge of store products, including liquor categories and brands.
• Work as part of a team to maintain a well-organized and effectively merchandised liquor department.
• May be required to assist in other departments as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must demonstrate detailed knowledge of liquor and its categories.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to count cash and make change accurately.
• Ability to operate business machines, such as scanners and computer keyboards.
• Ability to pass any applicable alcohol training class and maintain a current certification card.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and managers.
• Ability to follow directions and complete assignments.
• Ability to write legibly.
• Ability to read small type.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to repeatedly walk up and down stairs.
• Ability to work in cold areas.
• Ability to work hours as scheduled.
• Consistent and regular attendance.

What We Offer:

• Competitive pay range of $16.25-$18.00 based on availability and experience.
