About the Role
At CommUnityCare Health Centers, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional oral health care services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality oral hygiene services, including teeth and gum evaluations, X-ray development, and dental prophylaxis.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Accurately document patient information, care rendered, and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
- Graduation from a certified course in dental hygiene.
- Current Texas registration as a Dental Hygienist, including certification for placement of sealants.
- Current healthcare provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course completion card.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a dental clinic or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
