Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiography Specialist to join our team at Elmhurst Hospital. This role is vital in providing high-quality cardiac imaging services to our patients.

Position Details:

  • Role: Echocardiography Specialist
  • Location: Elmhurst Hospital, Elmhurst, IL
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with staggered start times. Weekend shifts required on alternate weeks.
  • Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience, starting at $34.67 per hour.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certification: Must possess ARDMS or CCI certification within 12 months, along with BLS certification.
  • Experience: Open to new graduates.
  • Education: High school diploma and completion of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform two-dimensional ultrasonic imaging of the heart, including 2D echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms under general supervision.
  • Assist medical professionals in conducting transesophageal echocardiograms.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients.
  • Capture ultrasonic images from patients with complex medical conditions.
