Echocardiography Technician

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technician to join our team at Duncan Regional Hospital. As an Echocardiography Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.

• Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
• Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including ultrasound machines and other diagnostic imaging devices.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and provide emotional support during the examination.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, results, and follow-up care.

• 1 year of experience in echocardiography or a related field preferred.
• Certification in RDCS or ARDMS required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
