As a Practical Nursing Specialist in a Substance Abuse Treatment Facility, you will be instrumental in guiding individuals on their path to recovery from addiction. The ideal candidate will provide essential nursing care, oversee medication administration, and offer support to those undergoing treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver nursing care in alignment with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform health evaluations and monitor clients' physical and mental health.
  • Administer medications and assess their effectiveness.
  • Work alongside healthcare professionals to create and execute personalized care plans.
  • Educate clients on health enhancement, illness prevention, and available treatment options.
  • Maintain precise and current medical documentation.
  • Offer emotional support and guidance to clients throughout their recovery journey.
Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Current LPN license issued by the state.
  • Prior experience in a substance abuse treatment setting is advantageous.
  • Understanding of addiction medicine and treatment methodologies.
  • Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Salary Information

$33-$38 per hour
