Precision Machinist

We are seeking a highly skilled Precision Machinist to join our team at Mid-State Industrial Maintenance. This role will involve machining parts of various sizes using lathes, horizontal & vertical boring mills, knee-mills, grinders, saws etc.

This is a full-time position located in Van Wert, OH 45891. As a Precision Machinist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including turning, threading, boring and facing operations in various size lathes, drilling, tapping, boring and facing operations in a large horizontal boring mill, and operating miscellaneous machines including saws, grinders, shapers, key-seaters, radial arm drills and threading machines.

• Perform complex machining operations on precision equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of production and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.

To be successful as a Precision Machinist, you will need:

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Dependability and ability to work long hours.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Knowledge of pumps, valves, gearboxes, piping and large-scale mechanical assemblies.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
