About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Primary Care Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing evidence-based care and promoting health and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Triage and document patient information accurately
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and telehealth duties
- Document patient encounters in a timely and accurate manner
- Promote patient education and self-management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in primary care nursing, preferably in a VA setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $68,000 - $94,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
