Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an After School Assistant Teacher at Ledesma Elementary. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our young learners and supporting their educational journey.

Responsibilities
  • Invest in the growth and development of our children, creating a world-class experience in our classrooms
  • Reward your commitment to our children and families, fostering a sense of community and belonging
  • Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child, promoting individualized learning and growth
  • Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and thrive
  • Partner with parents, center staff, and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and community contacts, promoting a culture of collaboration and support
Qualifications
  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
  • Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
  • Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
