Cook Position at The Waters of Chesterfield

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at The Waters of Chesterfield. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and assisting with food preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while following specific dietary restrictions and providing alternatives for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of foods in large quantities
  • Follow verbal and written instructions
  • Work with and provide care to individuals of a wide range of personality types and maturity levels
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Communicate and comprehend orally and in writing to effectively receive and share information as necessary to perform job duties

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • One year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred
  • Sanitation certificate
  • Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities
