Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to join our team. As an IT System Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, providing technical support and guidance to our staff, and collaborating with our software development team to drive innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support
  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to our staff, ensuring prompt resolution of IT-related issues.
  • Collaborate with our software development team to identify and implement solutions to improve system performance and availability.
• System Administration
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems on our inland ships and at our offices.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems, implementing measures to prevent data breaches and cyber threats.
• Training and Development
  • Develop and deliver training programs to our staff on the use of IT systems and software applications.
  • Collaborate with our training team to design and implement comprehensive training programs for our clients.
• Communication and Liaison
  • Act as a liaison between our staff, software developers, and clients, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to our clients, ensuring they are able to effectively use our IT systems and software applications.

Requirements

• Education and Experience
  • Successfully completed vocational training in the IT field or equivalent education.
  • First professional experience in a similar position, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
• Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in IT system administration, software development, and data security.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and software developers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
