Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at TravelCenters of America. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers in a timely and efficient manner.

• Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results to develop a repair plan
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to ensure accurate and efficient service
• Repair malfunctioning parts and equipment, completing repairs safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Recommend additional services to customers during the inspection process
• Ensure the safety of both customers and employees

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an acceptable trade school or manufacturer's technical school, or previous mechanic experience
• Ability to work unsupervised and flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
