Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical treatment programs for adult members with acute or chronic mental health needs.
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Instruct and counsel patients and their families regarding treatment adherence and medication regimens.
  • Administer specialized therapeutic procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians to screen and evaluate patients for psychotropic medications.
  • Utilize community resources to meet the needs of members' treatment.
  • Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with Couples and Families Endorsement.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of DSM-V, social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
  • Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, individual, and group psychotherapy.
  • Adult Psychiatry experience.
