Job Summary

Spherion is seeking a skilled Receiver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying contents, and organizing and distributing packages to appropriate departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming shipments and verify contents to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Organize and distribute packages to appropriate departments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments to ensure seamless operations
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed in handling materials to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline receiving processes and improve overall efficiency
Requirements
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
