Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team at DAC Worldwide. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components using various machining techniques, including shearing, drilling, and deburring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce components by shearing, drilling, de-burring, and bench operations.
  • Assemble products as assigned.
  • Troubleshoot to find and eliminate defects to ensure the product meets specs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Monitor product quality during the process.
  • Welding experience a plus - Complete fit-up and tack welds of materials to be welded. Measure, mark, cut, bevel, etc., material to prepare for welding. Fabricate jigs and fixtures to be used in production as needed. Clean, chip, grind, etc. work before and after welding.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience milling, turning, drilling, taping, deburring, and bench operations.
  • Ability to read blueprints and other product specs.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Dependable - arrive on time and ready for the day.
  • Ability to frequently lift/move items up to 25 pounds, sometimes over 50 pounds.
  • 1+ years of experience in welding and fitting is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
