About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing clinical and research diagnostic molecular imaging testing, including general, cardiac, and PET studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients for appropriate indications and contraindications, communicating with providers to facilitate diagnostic exam adjustments as needed.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, completing testing to include general, cardiac, and PET and research studies.
  • Perform intra-venous peripheral catheter insertion as authorized by a Nuclear Medicine physician.
  • Acquire, process, and reconstruct images as appropriate, labeling patient images in accordance with ACR requirements.
  • Ensure radiation safety techniques, including use of protective shielding and handling and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals.
Requirements
  • Radiologic technologist (Nuclear Medicine) in the state of Massachusetts.
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification.
  • CT Certification required within one year of employment.
