Role Summary:
The MRI Imaging Specialist operates under the guidance of the Administrative Supervisor and/or Director, utilizing a magnetic resonance imaging system to capture diagnostic images for physicians. Responsibilities include selecting appropriate imaging protocols, managing console operations, entering and monitoring patient information, and transferring images to the PACS system.
Incentives Offered:
Loan Repayment Assistance Program: Eligible staff in a 24/7 hospital-based position may receive financial support through our Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program, offering up to $20,000 over a lifetime, with monthly payments of up to $370 directly to the loan servicer.
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000*
Qualifications Required:
- Education: Completion of formal training in Radiologic Technology from an AMA accredited institution, meeting ARRT registry requirements.
- Licensure: Current registration with the ARRT in Radiography and MRI.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant role.
- Certifications: Must possess an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course during the probationary period.
- Skills: Proficiency in medical imaging technology, understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, and knowledge of 3-D imaging techniques. Ability to handle equipment, assist patients, and adapt to high-pressure situations.
Work Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 3 shifts of 12 hours each.
